Policies
After many years of doing business in the Portland area we've decided on a few helpful policies to lay as groundwork before beginning on a project. We're not much for rules, but we do like to ensure there is a firm mutual understanding between us and our clients. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or comments, thanks!
General
- We do not refund deposit payments.
- We reserve the right to exercise complete discretion over the dispersion of funds paid to us by our clients.
- We reserve the right to showcase our work on your project in our portfolio and at our discretion.
- If a task you wish to be completed is NOT in the original estimate we assume we've not been hired to perform the task, but we can issue an additional estimate for the completion of your work.
Web Development
- Once a project has been completed on our end, the client usually likes to take several weeks to add in content. Though we are available to help, and free of charge in most cases, we reserve the right to bill and collect the project's balance at this stage.
- We reserve the right to maintain our website name and link on every page of a website that we've worked on. Think of it like a Mercedes logo on the hood of your car!
Search Engine Optimization & Search Engine Marketing
The guarantee associated with your campaign will depend on the competitiveness of your keywords and the number of keywords for which your site is optimized. We will meet or beat any guarantees offered by a comparable SEO firm. Each optimization program comes with a basic guarantee as follows:
We will guarantee at least 5 top 10 rankings within 6 months across Google & Yahoo (if paid inclusion is contracted) your money back*. Note that this is not a specific guarantee on any particular keyword.
*Only the service portion of our fees are refundable. Paid inclusion fees such as Yahoo Directory submission ($299.00) are paid directly to search engines and are non-refundable, as well as hosting and domain name fee's. Each optimization client will be given a guarantee on a case-by-case basis depending on the competitiveness of the keywords.
